Janice Lassere

Janice T. Lassere, 73, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Vacherie, La., died on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Mrs. Lassere was a homemaker and did everything for her family, from cooking to clothes. She was a friend and neighbor to her community.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Errol J. Lassere Sr.; sons, Desmond (Ashley) and Errol Lassere Jr.; daughters, Francesca (Terrance) Cortez, Gwendolyn (Houston) Wilcox and Christina (John) Doucet; brothers, Harris Jr. and Rudy Trosclair; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Burial is at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Cemetery in Vacherie.
