Jail inmate accused of rape dies after hanging

Eula M. Bourg, 84, a native and resident of Larose, La., died on Tuesday, June 28, 2016.
Mrs. Bourg is survived by her sons, Roy, Dean and Tim (Tosha) Bourg; daughters, Irma (David) Bourg and Vema (Bobby) Ponville; brothers, Horace and Gary Matherne; sisters, Beulah Boudreaux and Mary Delaune; nine grandchildren; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery in Larose.
