Grand Caillou native takes fisheries post

Henry A. Rivet, 76, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Thursday, June 9, 2016.
Mr. Rivet was a sports fan, in love with LSU, the Saints, Pelicans and Dodgers. He was a welder at Avondale Shipyards and, after retiring, was a security guard for Weiser Security.
He is survived by Gwen (fiance Albert Lombus) Hebert, Stephanie King and Charlotte (Casey) Pellegrin; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Landry Rivet and Mitchell Guillot; and sisters, Barbara Rivet and Kate Guillot. (Thibodaux)
