Ms. Jeanne Marie Babin

Ms. Jeanne Marie Babin, 82, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 3:13 p.m.

She is survived by her son, Patrick (Dawn) Babin; daughter, Jane (David) Ohlmeyer; brother, Albert “Curly” (Jane) Hebert; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Patrick Babin; parents, Eris Hebert Sr. and Eunice Dumesnil; and brothers, Harold and Eris “Sunny” Hebert Jr.

She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at Chauvin Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
