Herbert John Ledet Sr., 86, a native of West-wego, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Oct. 12, 2015.
Mr. Ledet was an avid fisherman, and he was also a fruit and vegetable vendor who distributed produce house-to-house for over 40 years.
He is survived by his sons, Herbert (Connie) Ledet Jr. and Dannie (Alice) Ledet; daughters, Linda (Mike) Lottinger and Cheryl (Chris) Schoest; brothers, Richard Sr. and Milton Ledet Sr.; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Burial is at Terrebonne Memorial Park Mausoleum. (Chauvin Funeral Home)
