Houma man beats, robs cyclist; beaten, robbed afterward

Mayme Foret Taylor, 89, a resident of Metairie, La., and a native of Little Caillou, La., died at 6:19 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, 2006.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until funeral service Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006, at St. Joseph Church in Chauvin with burial in St. Joseph Mausoleum.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by two sons, Richard and wife, Joya Taylor, and Jim and wife, Susan Taylor; one daughter, Kathleen and husband, Richard Pearson; one mother-in-law, Augustine Taylor; one sister, Ruby Foret; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Neal Joseph Taylor; her parents, Arthur and Agnes Fanguy Foret; one brother, Isaac Foret; and two sisters, Allie Fanguy and Aline Duplantis.
She was a parishoner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. She was a member of the Busy Bees and the St. Joseph Altar Society.
Arrangements are under the direction of Falgout Funeral Home.
