Peter Mire

Peter Joseph Mire, 60, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Kenner, La., died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015.

A Nicholls State graduate, Mr. Mire worked for the U.S. Post Office for 38 years. He was an avid fan of the Saints, Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, Audubon Zoo and visiting the racetrack.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Larose Mire; brother, Glen (Mary) Mire; sisters, Ann Mire and Ramona (Ross) Headifen.

Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery.
