Anna Mae Davis, 80, a native and resident of Raceland, La. died Tuesday, October 16, 2007.
She is survived by three daughters, Jessie Gray, Polly Davis, Donna Stamps; four sons, Rev. Dr. Carline Davis, Donald Davis, Horace Davis, and Timothy Joseph; one brother, Wilbert Gray; 21 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Davis; parents, Manuel and Octavia Joseph, Sr.; and one brother, Manuel Joseph, Jr.
Anna was a devout Baptist and was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She served on the Deaconess Board. She enjoyed being with family and friends.
Visitation is Thursday, October 25, 2007, from 8:30am until 10:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. She will be buried in The Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
