Norris Charles Landry, 89, a native of Chackbay, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Sunday, June 9, 2013.
Mr. Landry was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 36 years and was a member of the American Legion and Home Hook and Ladder Fire Company. He loved gardening and watching football.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Landry; daughter, Charlene Richard; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemille and Louise Landry; and brothers, Eyves and Forrest Landry.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Landry’s)
