Loney Joseph Dardar Sr., 84, a native and resident of Isle Jean Charles, La., died at 7:34 p.m. Wednesday, October 1.
He is survived by two sons, Loney J. Dardar Jr. and Walton E. Dardar Sr.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Justine Dardar; his parents, Antoinette and Ernest Dardar; two daughters, Joyce D. Scott and Antoinette D. Naquin; three brothers, Theophil Dardar, Theodore Dardar and Alvin Dardar; and two sisters, Julie Frazier and Regina Brunet.
In lieu of flowers, donations to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 4, at Live Oak Baptist Church in Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at Bisland Cemetery in Bourg, La.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
