Grand Caillou native takes fisheries post

Kandi Matherne Naquin, 26, native and resident of Montegut, La., died on Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Mrs. Naquin is survived by her husband, Jerry Naquin Jr.; daughters, Ava and Zoey Naquin; parents, Barry and Earline Dupre Matherne; sister, Tiffany Matherne; brother, MasonMatherne; grandmothers, Justilia Dupre and Shirley Matherne; father and mother-in-law, Jerry and Marguerite Naquin Sr.; and brothers-in-law, Christopher and Joshua Naquin.
Burial is at Sacred Heart Cemetery. (Samart)
