Emily Hue Blanchard, 77, a native of Pierre Part, La., and resident of Plattenville, La., died at 10:55 p.m. Friday, Nov. 19, 2010.
She is survived by her husband, Carlton “Cotton” Blanchard; son, Ricky (Florette) Blanchard; daughters, Neddie Blanchard Brusly, Vicky (John) Foote and Pamela (Tommy) Doran; brothers, Jimmy, Harry and Ernest Hue; sisters, Lucy Mae Daigle, Shirley Scully and Agnes Esteve; seven grandchildren, Dawn Battaglia, Kristy Rodriguez, and Byron, Ryan and Joel Blanchard, and Ian and Brendan Doran; and two great-grandchildren, Rowan Blanchard and Ryli Rodriguez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ozema and Rosa Hue; and three brothers, Junius, Percy and Shelby Hue.
She is buried at Plattenville Cemetery.
