December 20, 2010Stacy Lynn Bardwell Phipps, 45, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010.
Mrs. Phipps was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. She was a member of the Krewe of Aquarius. She was an avid Saints and LSU fan and she loved painting her woodcrafts.
She is survived by her husband, James Phipps; daughters, Courtney (Brandon) Lapeyrouse and Haley Phipps; two grandchildren, Tidus and Taylon “Puddin” Lapeyrouse; father, Willard “Eddie” Bardwell; mother, Suzanne Matlock Bardwell; brothers, Eddie and Bobby Bardwell; mother-in-law, Corine Francis Paulk; brother-in-law, Glynn “Scott” (Candice) Phipps; godfather, Carroll Kraemer; six nephews; three nieces; and a great amount of friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Becky Bardwell; godmother, Zetta Kraemer; maternal grandparents, Ray and Ruth Matlock; and various relatives.
She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
