Charles A. “Pookie” Foret, 73 a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Friday, March 9, 2012.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Pearl Foret; children, Ricky and Stacy; sister, Bonnie Wiedenbacher; granddaughter, Cherish Foret; step-granddaughter, Johanna Prejeant; and three step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Maunsell and Oceana Foret; brothers, Dillius, James and Leroy Foret; and sisters, Shirley Webre and Lula Mire.
Burial was at Westlawn Cemetery. (Falgout)
