Una Mae Bergeron Champagne, 96, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:10 a.m. Sunday, March 15, 2015.
Mrs. Champagne was a lifelong member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Daughters of America, Court Cardinal Gibbons No. 77, where she served as recording secretary and membership chairperson. She also was a member of the Terrebonne Historical and Cultural Society Inc., and was one of the founding members of the Maria Immacolata Ladies Alter Society. She graduated in 1936 from St. Francis De Sales Academy.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald (Cheryl), Donald (Rosie), James (Jennifer) and Stephen (Charlotte) Champagne; daughters, Iris Samanie and Mary Ann Champagne; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Donations in her memory may be made to St. Francis De Sales Catholic Daughters of America, Court No. 77.
Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
