Louis W. Barrios, 91, a native of Lockport, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, July 11, at 7:45 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite Carter Barrios; two sons, Robert Barrios and John Barrios; three daughters, Kathy Chauvin, Nancy Barrios and Carol Vecchio; two brothers, Henry and James Barrios; one sister, Katie Crowe; 13 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille C. Barrios and Anita Barrios; three brothers, Manny, Harry and Mack Barrios; and two sisters, Edna Barrios and Mildred Davis.
He was the general manager of Offshore Food Service providing catering services to offshore rigs in the Gulf and overseas. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Matthews, La., and a lifetime member of the Masons.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to United Methodist Church in Matthews.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at United Methodist Church in Matthews with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Barrios Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
