Meagan Leah “Toonie” Barrilleaux, 16, a native and resident of Chackbay, LA., died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her mother, Tiffany Percle; her father, Troy Barrilleaux; her stepfather, James Percle; her stepmother, Kia Barrilleaux; four brothers, Lance Percle, Sage Barrilleaux, Saul Barrilleaux and Austin Percle; two sisters, Taylor Percle and Linsey Percle; her grandparents, Trudy Rodrigue, Robert and Brenda Braud, Maryanne and Russell Verret, Gary “Gabby” Barrilleaux, Jerry and Jeannie Percle, Andrew “Dooley” and Barbara Hebert; and her great-grandparents, James Toups, Dorothea and Charles Braud Jr. and Inez Percle.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Chester Rodrigue; and her great-grandparents, Rita Toups, Rose and Frank Solar, and Wilma and Hattie Barrilleaux.
She was a junior at Thibodaux High School, where she was a varsity cheerleader, a member of the student council, Key Club, art club and yearbook committee.
Thibodaux Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
