Don “Papa Duck” Yelverton, 60, a native of Laurel, Miss., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, April 9, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Sevin Yelverton; daughter, Yaun (Steve) Tullis; sister, Diane Deroche; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Kaitlyn Tullis.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billie Yelverton Harp and Maxwell Yelverton; and one brother, Richard Yelverton.
The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors in CCU at Terrebonne General Medical Center. (Samart)
