May 6, 2010Emelda Doiron Hebert, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2010.
Mrs. Hebert was a member of the Krewe of Flames, having served as a maid and queen, and The Stinkers of Houma. Her hobbies included sewing, camping, traveling and dancing.
She is survived by her husband, Curtis Hebert Sr.; son, Richard Hebert; daughters, Susan (John) Woollen; Robin (Billy Guidry) Hebert, and Christy (Terry) Peltier; sisters, Marie Claire Bergeron, Carolyn (James Sr.) Garrett and Beulah Ann (Jim) Parr; 12 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hebert is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
