James “Jim” Templet, 93, a native of Plattenville, La., and a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 6.
He is survived by two sons, Charles L. Templet and James “Jimmy” Templet and fiance’ Darlene Daigle; two daughters, Marguerite DePriest and husband Denis, and Connie Traigle and husband Adam; two brothers, George Templet and Albert Templet; two sisters, Marcelle Chamberlain and Jeanne Marie Richard; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Rousseau Templet; parents, Jean and Maria Guillot Templet; one brother, Leroy Templet; and three sisters, Kate Rivette, Maria Adolph and Essie Foret.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Napoleonville with mass to follow. Burial will be at Assumption Catholic Cemetery in Plattenville.
Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
