Beulah Matherne Comardelle, 90, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2013.
Mrs. Comardelle enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and sharing her love for Jesus. She was not only known as “Maw Maw” by her family but to everyone she met.
She is survived by her sons, Norris Jr., Vincent, Danny and Steve Comardelle; daughter, Meria Johnfroe; 16 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norris Comardelle Sr.; daughter, Sylvia Eschette; parents, Hildes and Lovinia Matherne; brothers, Jerry, Wilmont and Luther Matherne; sisters, Lilly Matherne and Dorothy Howeth; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6, at First Baptist Church in Larose, La., with services to follow. Burial will be at Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery. (Falgout)
