Dennis Joseph Thibodaux, 90, a native of Bourg, La., and a resident of Montegut, La., died Saturday, April 5, at 4:25 a.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Yvonne Thibodaux of Montegut and Melanie Strassel and husband, Bill, of Houma, La.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Pinel Thibodaux; his parents, Frank and Felicia LeBoeuf Thibodaux; son, Dennis Thibodaux Jr.; foster son, John Pinel; brother, Lloyd Thibodaux; and sisters, Silicia Dupre and Mildred Thibodaux.
He was a retired roustabout for Texaco. He was a member of the American Legion in Montegut and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Bourg. He was a WWII United States Army Veteran. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday, April 7, at the Montegut Fire Station and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with mass to follow. He will be buried at St. Ann Cemetery.
