LSU’s Tiger Stadium is readying for a different type of action May 23-24.
The Bayou Country Superfest headlines Kenny Chesney and country music’s power couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert.
Brantley Gilbert, Tyler Barr, Kip Moore, Colt Ford, David Nail, Kristian Bush and Cassee Pope round out the lineup.
The Memorial Day weekend is expecting record crowds. Now in its sixth year, the event saw its biggest attendance its inaugural year (2010), when Taylor Swift and Chesney headlined.
This year, Swift plays the stadium the night before Superfest kicks off, setting up Baton Rouge for another winning weekend. Appearing with Swift are Vance Joy and Shawn Mendes.
Two-day tickets range from $90 to $500, depending on your seating preference. Space in the standing-room Golden Horseshoe nearest the Bud Light Stage is the most expensive.
Single-day tickets range from $50 to $250.
Reserved festival parking on LSU’s campus near the field is also on sale. Two-day parking is $60; single-day is $30.
