SCHOOL: E.D. White graduate/Nicholls State University
SPORTS PLAYED: Kevin Johnson is one of the top basketball players this area has seen in a long time. A graduate of E.D. White and current freshman for Nicholls, Kevin is one of the top young players in the Southland Conference. He has made a huge impact on a Nicholls team competing for a spot in the Southland Tournament.
STATS: Kevin was supposed to be a redshirt player this season. Then, he earned his way onto the court for Nicholls as a reserve and then even deeper into the starting lineup. Now, he leads the team in minutes.
GOALS: “To always give everything that I have for my team on every game.”

CREDENTIALS: E.D. White graduate Kevin Johnson is making a huge surge for Nicholls State University’s men’s basketball team. A starting guard for a Colonels team that is 5-1 in the conference, Kevin is making himself valuable to the Colonels with his commitment to playing with effort, while distributing the ball to his teammates.
