Shirley U. Folse, 88, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died on Thursday, July 14, 2016.

Shirley is survived by her son, Howard J. Folse Jr. (Patricia); daughter, Sherry Melancon (Daniel); three grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
