Michael Blanchard

Michael Paul Blanchard, 42, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015.

Visitation will be held today, Oct. 7, at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville, La., from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the church cemetery Mr. Blanchard is survived by his wife, Kelly Blanchard; children, Jake and Rachel Blanchard; parents, Larry Sr. and Linda Blanchard; siblings, Larry Jr. (Tesa) and Terry (Kristy) Blanchard and Jessie (Tara) Pierce III; mother-and father-in-law, Debbie and Chuck Hymel; brother-in-law, Brett (Melissa) Hymel; and sister-in-law, Joanie Babin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family to help cover funeral expenses.
