Betty Jean Moore, 88, a native of Vivian (Trees), Louisiana, and resident of Houma, Louisiana, died at 7:20 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, 2015.

Mrs. Moore was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She loved the outdoors. Her hobbies were cycling, fishing, hunting, camping, golfing and gardening. She was proud of her gold medals she won at the Senior Olympics in Cycling. She was proud of the trophy fish and deer that she had. She was most proud of her family.

The family request donations to be made to The American Heart Association and the Alzheimer’s Association.

She is survived by her daughters, Gail Mire, Jeri (Mitch) Thompson, Connie (Debra Hunt) Moore; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Terrebonne Memorial Park.
