Ivy Joseph Angeron, 79, a native and resident of Berwick, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2010.

Mr. Angeron spent most of his life working as a supply boat captain in the Gulf of Mexico and abroad. Known to many as a master craftsman, his talent and pride clearly showed in the work he did with his hands. He was a U.S Air Force and Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margie Angeron; daughter, Ava (Dean) Angeron; sons, Artie (Diane), Adrian and Alan (Millie) Angeron; 14 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Twin City Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Morgan City Cemetery.
