April 8, 2010Alea “Totsie” Matherne Dupre, 82, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 3:55 a.m. Friday, April 2, 2010.
She is survived by daughters, Diane (Clarence Jr.) Foret, Delores (Roland) Gambrella, Shriley (Jeffery) Trahan, Nancy (David) Boquet and Melissa (Darren) Robichaux; sons, Arthur Jr. (Veronica), Peter (Elizabeth, Thomas (Lillian), and Ricky Dupre; brothers, John and Oliver Matherne; sisters, Lynn Chafin and Rosalie Pace; 25 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. today, April 7, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.
She will be buried at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Chauvin.
