Piper, Bathie receive top SLC honors

Junior A. Fabiano, 83, a native of Empire, La., and a resident of Chackbay, La., died Monday, April 6, at 7:32 a.m.
He is survived by his son, Jessie Anthony Fabiano and wife Betty Pennison Fabiano; brother, August Joseph Fabiano; half-brother, Robert J. Fabiano; sister, Eleanor Fabiano Hyman; half-sister, Roxanne Fabiano Cepriano; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Marie Ledet Fabiano; parents, Philip and Elizabeth Buras Fabiano; daughter, Phyllis Ann Fabiano; and brother, Philip Charles Fabiano.
He served his country during World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps on special assignment. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, and was a lifetime member of the VVFW and KC.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux, La. Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at St. Patrick Cemetery in Port Sulphur, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
