Terrebonne star excels as prep swimmer

Gina Ann Gregorio Mahaffey, 57, a native of Shreveport, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Jan. 12, 2016.
The owner of a local cafe, 531 Liberty, Mrs. Mahaffey pursued her dream of cooking food for anyone wanting to slow down for a good meal. Through her cafe, she and her family have made countless longtime friends that are considered family.
Mrs. Mahaffey is survived by her husband, Dennis Mahaffey; daughters, Anna Mahaffey and Erica Lambert; son-in-law, Beau Lambert; two grandsons; mother, Vita Gregorio; mother-in-law, El Friede Mahaffey; siblings, Anthony, Marina, Catherine and Joseph Gregorio, Iris and Bobby Boone, Diana Chance, Eva and David Chappel and Danny and Sonja Mahaffey; aunt, Lynn Mandina; dogs, Elvis and Napoleon.
Burial is at St. Francis No. 2 Cemetery.
