10 years later, charges are filed
November 9, 2017Leroy J. Le-Compte, 88, a native and resident of Raceland, passed away on Tuesday, October 31,2017.
Mr. LeCompte was a retired Louisiana State Trooper, retired from Lafourehe Parish Sheriff’s Office, served as Warden of the Lafourohe Parish Detention Center. He was a U.S. Army Military Police Veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. American Legion #349, Grand Marshall Club and longtime member of the Trojan Booster Club and served as president. He Was an avid hunter and fisherman and also a dedicated Tulane and Trojan fan. He loved to cook for his family and loved his garden.
Mr. LeCompte is survived by his son, Matt LeCompte (Dan— ielle); daughters. Paula Flint, Phyllis Hebert (Mike). Pennie LeCompte (Colleen); grand— children. Cody LeCnmpte, Jade LeCompte (Hannah), Layne LeCompte, Evan Hebert, Owen Hebert, Garret Flint; sister, June L. Robichaux (Milton) and son-in-law, Ray Flint.
