Sostine J. Brunet Sr., 94, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died on Sunday, November 6, 2016.
Mr. Brunet was a United States Army Veteran, having served in World War II. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW, and he retired from Rowan Drilling after 28 years of work.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Lefort Brunet; children, Sostine Jr. (Alida) and Chris (Katie) Brunet and Debbie (George) White; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Burial is at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
