Pearl Cormier

Pearl Marie Cormier, 80, a native of Vinton, La., and longtime resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Oct. 18, 2010.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra (Alan) Andras; sons, Lawrence (Nell) and Gary (Sheryl) Cormier; brothers, Elias “T-Neg” and Houston “T-boy” Cormier; sisters, Winnie Cormier, Theresa O’Quain, Thelma Boudreaux, Delores Boudreaux, Linda Cormier, Ann Doucet, Marella Billedeaux, Lucille LeDoux, Patsy Johnson and Betty Cormier; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ode Cormier; and two sisters, Vivian Monceaux and Lavina Lopez.

Pallbearers will be Chase Cormier, Rudy Soignet, Courtney Soignet, Jared Andras, Ian Cormier, and Aaron Paul Moody.

She is buried at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, La.
