Terrebonne special athletes go for gold

September 23, 2010Norman Antoine Fonseca, 73, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 8:28 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010.
Mr. Fonseca was retired from Edison Chouest Offshore after 20 years of service. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Loula Mae Fonseca; daughters, Rose (Troy) Guidry, Rebecca (Manuel) Collins and Nora (Rhoddy) Terrebonne; brothers, Ronald and Nolan Fonseca; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 23 at Sacred Heart Church with a memorial service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
