Includes hits from “Caberet,” “Chicago,” “New York, New York,” “Funny Lady” and “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”

“The Sunken Living Room” (New Orleans) Jan. 17-Feb. 11, at 8 p.m., with 3 p.m. curtain times on Sundays, at the Southern Repertory Theatre, Canal Place, 365 Canal St., Third Floor. Tickets are $15-$30. For more info: (504) 522-6545. Originally slated to premiere in New Orleans, the show was relocated when Hurricane Katrina blew through. Set in the late 1970s, this “unsettling, funny, poignant play” (Miami Herald) focuses on an eventful night in the life of 16-year-old Wade, who has been left alone to care for his brother’s precocious girlfriend. When the brother returns with a bag of cocaine, things really heat up.

“Arcadia” (Baton Rouge) Jan. 26 n Feb. 11, 8 p.m. at the Baton Rouge Little Theater, 7155 Florida Blvd. Tickets are $18. For more info: (225) 924-6496 or www.brlt.org. Tom Stoppard’s “Arcadia” is widely regarded as one of the most brilliant plays of the 20th century. It is 1809, and the estate is in an uproar. A scandal of love and bad poetry has erupted in the household, and soon scholarly pursuits are put aside in favor of things like duels to the death. Almost two centuries later, the family’s descendants share the house with two competing scholars, trying to piece together the age-old scandal. Tickets are $18. “Man of LaMancha” (Baton Rouge) Jan. 30, at 7:30 p.m., at Baton Rouge RiverCenter Theatre, 275 South River Rd. Tickets are $30-$50. For more info: (225) 389-3093. The musical adaptation is based on Miguel de Cervantes’ masterpiece of world literature, “Don Quixote.” A five-time Tony Award winner, the musical features memorable songs “Man of LaMancha” (I, Don Quixote), “I Really Like Him” and “The Impossible Dream” (The Quest).

Directed by Steve Young, Marivaux’s “Triumph of Love” is a romantic comical farce that explores how love educates the sensibility, changes minds and melts protective walls.
