American Wind Symphony (Houma) May 16, at 7:30 p.m., at the Downtown Marina. Free and open to the public. A private Patrons’ Concert will be held May 14, at 7 p.m., on the vessel at the Marina. A limited number of tickets are available for the event. New Orleans Opera Association presents “The Medium” (Napoleonville) May 11. Ticket prices are $35, $78 and $98. Gian Carlo Menotti will be a featured performer. Gwendolyn Jones will portray spiritualist Madame Flora and Sarah Jane McMahon performs “Monica’s Waltz” under the baton of Maestro Robert Lyall and the direction of David Morelock.
