“Lionel Hampton: A Centennial Celebration,” through July. Featuring more than 30 photographs and other personal items of Lionel Hampton on loan from the University of Idaho, home of Hampton’s archives.
“Roger Brown: Southern Exposure,” through July. Alabama native Robert Brown became part of the Chicago Imagist School in his early 20s. This movement blended folk art, surrealism, comic strip, advertisements and flea market finds into art.
“Elliot Erwitt’s South,” through July. Black and white photos and short films of the American South from 1950 to the early 1990s. This is the first exclusive South exhibit of Erwitt’s work and includes many never-before-printed works.
“Southern Masters: William Moreland,” through July. Includes abstract paintings by Moreland, who taught at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette.
