"The Drowsy Chaperone" (Westwego)

A die-hard musical theatre fan plays his favorite cast album, a 1928 smash hit called “The Drowsy Chaperone,” and the show magically bursts to life. The audience is immersed in the rambunctious tale of a brazen Broadway starlet trying to find and keep her true love. Includes tunes “Show Off,” “The Cold Feets” and “Toledo Surprise.”
