The Bayou Arts Fest’s White Boot Stroll is officially returning for another year!

Looking for a more interactive way to enjoy the Bayou Arts Fest this weekend and be entered to win a prize? The White Boot Stroll is perfect for you! To participate, follow these simple steps:

  • Pick up your “passport” at the Explore Houma Tent in front of the Houma Courthouse
  • Stroll at your own pace and be sure to visit all six stops
  • Snap a selfie with the art at each stop, shout out the artist and tage the establishment, and then post using the #BAYOUARTSFEST hashtag
  • Collect an “Explore Houma” sticker from the artist and add it to your “passport”
  • Once you’ve got all six stickers, drop your completed “passport” back at the Explore Houma Tent by 5:00 PM!

All you have to do next is keep your fingers crossed, as the winner is drawn from all the completed passports. Prizes this year include a $100 gift card to Cajun Critters Seafood, a $50 to Runneth Over, and a signed copy of the Cajun Ninja Cookbook. The six stops on this year’s White Boot Stroll will be:

  • Artist Geri Dugas at Downtown Jeaux
  • Artist Amanda Gautreaux at Mahony’s
  • Artist Lee Aucoin at Bloom West
  • Artist Tonia Guidry at Houma Elk’s Lodge #1193
  • Artist Adrian Naquin at Lumiere Blues & Jazz Bistro
  • Artist Regina Champagne-Babin at the Terrebonne Fine Arts Guild

The Bayou Arts Fest, hosted by Explore Houma, is known for promoting local artists while simultaneously embracing our area’s unique artistic diversity and culture. Last year’s festival attracted roughly 15,000 people, and that number is expected to grow this year. Come out the Bayou Arts Fest in Downtown Houma on Friday, October 11, 2024 from 7:00-10:00 PM and Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM-11:00 PM.
