For the second year in a row, pet owners and lovers are invited to join Hope for Animals at their Barktoberfest Event!
“At Barktoberfest, you and your four-legged companion can enjoy a variety of activities and entertainment. From doggy costume contests to bobbing for Vienna Sausage, there’s something for every pup to enjoy,” reads a statement from Hope for Animals. Don’t forget to check out our dog-friendly patio, where you can sip on refreshing brews while your furry friend makes new pals. This is the ultimate celebration for dog lovers and beer enthusiasts.”
Barktoberfest will take place on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at Mudbug Brewery in Thibodaux from 12:00-3:00 PM. There will be beer, music, food, craft vendors, pet blessings, a kid zone, pet costume and trick contests with prizes, and more. Live music will be performed by the Cajun Preserves, featuring local fiddler Waylon Thibodeaux.
Most importantly, all proceeds from the event ($5 entry) will go to benefit Hope for Animals, an animal rescue service dedicated to ending animal cruelty and giving hope to our local furry friends in need. Tickets can be purchased in advance here.
