October 10, 2024The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce has announced the featured speaker for their upcoming October General Membership Luncheon, Secretary Colonel Carlton Meginley of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs.
A retired Air Force Colonel with over twenty years of active duty service, Colonel Meginley is also an experienced attorney with a demonstrated history of working in the Defense & Space industry. Colonel Meginley is skilled in Criminal Law, Trial Practice, Litigation, Jury Trials, and Criminal Defense, and currently serves the State of Louisiana as Secretary for the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs.
He perviously served as General Counsel to the Louisiana Secretary of State, where he and his team were focused on election integrity, public policy and legislation, and making life better for the citizens of our home state.
The Houma-Terrebonne Chamber of Commerce General Membership Luncheon will take place on October 22, 2024 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM at the Regional Military Museum in Houma. Lunch will be provided by the newly-opened Chicken Salad Chick, with the featured nonprofit being the Junior Auxiliary of Houma. The Chamber will also be collecting unwrapped toys for the local Toys-For-Tots Drive.
