Community members are invited to support local nonprofits at a relaxing, bayou-side dinner event, Light Up the Night!

Come out dressed head-to-toe in your white linens and get ready for an “al fresco” dining experience for a good cause. This event promises to be an enchanted community evening filled with warm ambiance, live music, laughter, and much more. The highlight of the evening will be world-renowned violinist Shaun Ward, as he battles a DJ for the crowd.

Attendees should dress in all white and bring their favorite picnic food and drinks, alongside clear or white dinnerware and utensils. Linens, centerpieces, chairs, and tables will be provided.

“Light Up the Night is a really unique experience that everyone in the area will enjoy. This is a great opportunity to bring out your friends, families, and enjoy a great night outdoors,” said Tonya Harris. “I’m really excited to see all the community engagement. There is nothing more beautiful than life on the bayou, and this will be a great way to take advantage of how lucky we are.”

Light Up the Night will take place on October 25, 2024 at Memorial Park on the Bayouside in Houma, from 6:00-10:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased here, with all funds raised going towards local nonprofits.
