The Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government has announced additional town hall dates to its upcoming lineup.
These town hall meetings are scheduled to be held at various locations throughout the parish to promote transparency and foster open communication between the local government and the community.
“We just want to provide the residents the opportunity to ask the parish government questions about what’s going on and the latest information of how we’re working to move Terrebonne Parish forward,” said Terrebonne Parish President Jason Bergeron.
These town hall meetings present a valuable opportunity for Terrebonne Parish residents to voice their concerns, ask questions, and gain insight into the initiatives and efforts aimed at advancing the parish’s development. The next town hall meetings are as follows, with new dates in bold:
- Schriever – Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Andrew Price Gym.
- Dulac – Thursday, October 17, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Daisy’s Hall.
- Dularge – Monday, October 21, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM at Dularge Recreation Center.
- West Houma – Thursday, October 24, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Civic Center Meeting Rooms
- Pointe-Aux-Chenes – Tuesday, October 29, 2024 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church
- East Houma – Tuesday, November 12, 2024 (rescheduled) from 6:00-7:00 PM at the Mechanicville Multipurpose Building
TPCG encourages residents to remember that these town halls are not community specific; residents from any part of Terrebonne Parish are welcome to attend any meeting.
