A Bayou Blue teenager is out on bond after being arrested for allegedly engaging in sexual intercourse with a minor.
Authorities said juvenile detectives have investigated the case over the past several days and during that investigation, they learned that Taylor Sagona, 17, of Bayou, had allegedly engaged in consensual sexual intercourse with a minor female.
During investigation, authorities learned the female had more than four years age difference from the suspect.
On June 23, detectives made contact with Sagona and during questioning, he allegedly admitted to his involvement in the incident.
Sagona was arrested and taken to the Lafourche Parish Detention Center – booked on a felony charge of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
He is out of jail after posting a $2,500 bond.
