An individual was shot during the Krewe of Aquarius parade on Saturday night in Houma.
The victim received a gun shot wound to the upper body and was transferred to a local medical facility for treatment, according to Lt. Travis Theriot, spokesperson for the Houma Police Department.
The shooting is still under investigation. HPD expects to release more details tomorrow.
