The Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for public help in identifying the suspects responsible for stealing motorcycles from Cycle World in Houma on Monday morning.

On Monday at approximately 5 a.m., TPSO deputies responded to Cycle World at 5509 West Park Avenue in Houma in reference to the business’s alarm having sounded.

Deputies arrived at the location and discovered that the front glass window to the business had been smashed and that the suspects had already left the scene.

An employee of the business conducted an inventory check and discovered that six dirt bikes were stolen – three blue and white Yamaha dirt bikes and three green and white Kawasaki dirt bikes – bikes with a combined value of more than $50,000.

Surveillance video from the business shows a full-sized U-Haul truck backing up to the front of the business at the time of the incident.

Authorities said one of six suspects then smashed the front glass window to the show room floor and all six suspects entered the building, allegedly taking the above-mentioned bikes, loading them into the U-Haul, then fleeing the scene.

All of the suspects had their heads covered.

TPSO is asking for public help concerning the investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call TPSO at (985) 876-2500. Information which leads to an arrest may yield a $1,000 reward.
