Jan. 23: Krewe of Aphrodite-Rouses Supermarket Mini Parade (Houma)

At the 5818 W. Main St. store. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the parade starts at noon. Open to area children, the mini parade features youngsters dressed for the holiday in homemade wagon floats. The children toss beads to onlookers.
