October is Lockport Branch Library Friends sign-up month. Anyone interested in supporting the Lockport Branch Library by becoming a Friends of the Lockport Library member, drop by and ask any staff for more information and a membership card to sign up.

Thursday, Oct. 7, 10:30 a.m. – Fire Safety Preschool Storytime: Learn about fire safety from members of the Lockport Volunteer Fire Department and inspect up close one of the department’s fire trucks. Thursday, Oct. 14, 10:30 a.m. – Preschool Storytime.
