HPD reaches out to area’s needy with food boxes

All Terrebonne Parish library branches are closed: Friday, Dec. 10 for system-wide staff training, Friday, Dec. 24, Saturday, Dec. 25, and Sunday, Dec. 26 for the Christmas holidays, and Saturday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day. All library branches will close at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31 for New Year’s Eve. Main Library and North Branch will be open on Sunday, Jan. 2.

Friends of the Library:
Friends of the Library will have a two-day Choice Book Sale from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 and from 2 – 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5. The donated books for all ages are used, but look brand new. Great for gift giving. Proceeds benefit the library system.
